Subscription and free trial
- How the trial works. CyanoSun is free to download and fully usable for 5 days after you first open it. After that, a subscription is needed to keep using it. You are never charged during the trial.
- Restore a purchase. Open the subscription screen and tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple ID you subscribed with.
- Cancel the subscription. Open Settings › your name › Subscriptions › CyanoSun Pro, or in the app use the gear menu › Manage subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Refunds. Apple handles payments and refunds: request a refund.
Common questions
- The UV index doesn't load. Allow location access in Settings › CyanoSun › Location, and check your internet connection. You can always switch to Enter UV manually in the gear menu.
- The exposure alarm doesn't sound. Allow notifications for CyanoSun in Settings. On iOS 26 and later the alarm also rings in silent mode and in a Focus.
- The camera meter looks wrong. Aim the camera at your print frame (or at white paper lying where the frame will be), not at the sky or the sun.
- Where is my data? The logbook is stored only on your device; see the Privacy Policy.
